AWA Embroidered Logo Crewneck
$35.00 - $38.00
Memphis may have been officially part of Verne Gagne's American Wrestling Association, but in the eyes of local fans, Nick Bockwinkel was the true World champion. For years, AWA Southern champion Jerry Lawler dueled with the AWA kingpin with the Beverly Hills Blond Bomber managing to escape with this turkey-place sized belt—with the exception of the Dec. 27, 1982, quickie switch (recognized only in Memphis). Of course, the King was eventually crowned AWA king after a perfect performance vs. the late, great Curt Hennig.
Printed a vintage-smooth 100% cotton Gildan sweatshirt that runs true to size, the AWA logo has never looked better, as Printful does a masterful job with embroidery. Show your love for this once great wrestling organization with a subtle logo on the left chest—the epitome of pure class. (Bockwinkel would have appreciated that. White corner towel sold separately)
While it runs true, if you like your sweatshirts a little more comfy in the waistline and shoulders, order a size up. This will take 9 business days to produce so if you're shopping for the heel or babyface on your list, order now—cretinous humanoid!
